Dr. Srikanth Thudumu is the Director of AI at the Institute of Applied Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (IAAIR), USA, where he leads strategic research initiatives and is recognized for translating AI research into practical implementations. His work focuses on enterprise AI adoption, intelligent automation, scalable AI systems, and quantum machine learning, with an emphasis on applying research to deliver technologies with real-world impact.
Dr. Thudumu is one of the lead architects of OpenAg, a global initiative to democratize agricultural intelligence. The OpenAg white paper (arXiv:2506.04571) outlines a vision for adaptive, knowledge-driven AI systems designed to advance sustainable agriculture.
Dr. Thudumu is also a visiting research scientist at Deakin University’s Applied Artificial Intelligence Initiative (A2I2) in Australia, where he previously served as a Senior Research Fellow. In collaboration with the Australian Department of Defence and the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), he has contributed to advances such as an AI-powered autonomous wheelchair, a context-aware search engine, and an AI platform for merchandise image processing. Building on this applied AI research, he contributes actively to the global AI community as an Associate Editor, Review Editor, and Program Committee member for leading AI journals and conferences.
