About the Event
March 3: Historical Old Town Alexandria Walking Tour & Dinner to benefit ARAPAC
(Note: Tour & Dinner is optional; sign up is required separately from event registration to comply with FEC regulations)
March 4: ARA Committees discuss new public policy priorities, member services, conference planning and more. A reception in Arlington will follow.
March 5: ARA members meet their elected officials in Congress on Capitol Hill. A reception will follow.
March 6: ARA Board convenes with EPA Office of Pesticide Programs Director Ed Messina invited to speak. Members may visit a federal agency to discuss ag retailer issues.
2023 Fly-In Recap
More than 80 ARA members flew in from all parts of the country to meet with more than 130 congressional offices in just one day to educate lawmakers and their staff about issues of importance to ag retailers and their farmer customers.
"These meetings were critical to advance the core public policy goals of our association," said 2022-23 ARA Board Chair Ian McGregor after last year's Fly-In.
